NEWS PRODUCING
I learned the ends and outs of producing a newscast in a course I took at the University of Alabama. I learned how to create a rundown using ENPS and write scripts using the subject, verb, and object technique. Not only did I get to produce, but I also got to participate in newscasts as a sports anchor, news anchor, and meteorologist. The main takeaway I have from this course is that producing a newscast takes a team, and you have to give your all in the production aspect for the show to run smoothly.
INDIVIDUAL NEWSCAST

This is a newscast I produced by myself. I wrote all the stories and edited the video using Edius and Adobe Premiere Pro. I used an NX 100 camera and a tripod to record myself. I made a rundown in Google Sheets with my scripts linked as Google Docs. The Vampire Diaries VO/SOT was a story I shot myself at a fan convention in Covington, GA. For the other stories, I used CNN Newssourse to get the video. I added all the graphics and CGs in post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro templates.
